What this is

Frog is a mindful app blocker made in Australia. This page describes what data is collected when you visit this website and use the Frog app, and who can see it.

Analytics

We use Statsig for product analytics. When you arrive, we set a first-party cookie (frog_visitor) containing a random visitor ID — not your name or email. It lasts 90 days. Statsig records:

  • Pages you view and buttons you click.
  • A replay of your session — mouse movement, scrolling, clicks. Form input is masked by default.
  • UTM parameters from the URL.

If you buy the frog, the visitor ID is attached to your order so we can see which marketing reached you. That means the visitor ID is linked to the purchase. Shopify processes the payment itself under its own privacy policy.

Statsig and Shopify operate this data on our behalf under data protection agreements. We do not sell it. We do not share it with anyone else for marketing.

No advertising network trackers. No cross-site tracking. No accounts.

Cookies

One first-party cookie is set: frog_visitor — an anonymous visitor ID and the time it was assigned. 90-day lifetime.

Statsig also writes to browser storage (localStorage) to support analytics and session recording. No third-party cookies are set.

The app

The Frog app stores your schedules and settings locally on your device. No account is required. Schedule data does not leave your device.

Australian Privacy Principles

Frog is subject to the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). We collect only what is necessary to run the product and measure its performance. We do not disclose personal information to overseas recipients except where required to operate services (e.g., Statsig, Shopify), both of whom maintain appropriate safeguards.

You may request access to, or correction of, any personal information we hold about you. Given the anonymous nature of our analytics, we may not be able to identify you. Contact us and we will assist where possible.
